Happy Monday all! I know we’re all very excited about Canada Day tomorrow (check out Vanessa’s post for fun books here). I thought I’d share my favouite piece  of Canadian trivia with you! Did you know that John A. MacDonald’s nickname was John A. Fancypants?! Now you do! Apparently our first prime minister got the moniker because of his penchant for loud, plaid pants. Historical nicknames are my favourite (stay tuned to hear the nickname trivia I have lined up for BC Day!).
