Happy Friday!
When you read this I will be on my way to
Kelowna for our Western Reps Book Fair. It is
going to be fantastic – there are booksellers coming
from BC, Alberta, Quebec, Ontario and even some from
the US. The weather should be sunny and hot so it will
be like a working vacation. Michael Neill, of Mosaic Books
and BookManager, in Kelowna, is presenting some
seminars pre-fair and there will be some wonderful
evening events during the bookfair too.
Michael and his wife Michelle are hosting a party at their
home on the lake, another evening there’s an event on a
paddle-wheeler and one night there’s a bookseller dinner
at the Kelowna Yacht Club. All in all it will be a great time
to socialize with booksellers from near and far and get a
good deal of work done at the same time.
