I’ve always prided myself on having pretty great vision, but the last few months I’ve been struggling a bit. I keep changing the resolution on my computer screen here at work to make things bigger and bigger, and even picked up some drug store reading glasses!

Last week I finally bit the bullet and made an optometrist appointment for the first time since I was a small child. It turns out I have astigmatism, and am quite near-sighted in one of my eyes! So I have joined the ranks of glasses wearers.

The whole thing is very weird, although I’m trying to think of it as another fun accessory I get to wear (plus, you know, being able to see is cool too, I guess).
