Juneteenth

June 19, 2014 | by

Hi guys!

I was scouring the internet earlier this week and saw that today, June 19th
is an important day in history. Commonly referred to as Juneteenth, this is
the day that slavery was abolished in the United States.

In honour of today, I thought I’d share a few books from Ampersand that you might be
interested in.
