Happy Monday all! I’m having a hard time believing it’s almost February. 2017 has barely begun, but the time is flying by!

One of my resolutions this year was to become a better citizen. So far I’ve set up some volunteer commitments, and upped my monthly donations to causes I think are important, but I’m about to start on what might be the hardest: I’m going to try to read all six volumes of the complete text of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s report. I’m intimidated, but also determined! Look at all these pages, you guys! Eek! But I think it will be fascinating, heart-rending, and make me a better Canadian.
